This site will not charge you any reservation fees for making this booking, nor charge your credit card. You will simply pay for your stay at Residence Porta Al Prato.
Cancellation is free of charge provided you adhere to the notification period stated in Residence Porta Al Prato cancellation policy (see "Cancellation Policy" below).

• Making your reservation is easy and safe:
  • Select your desired dates.
  • Select your desired room types (you can view the rooms descriptions and facilities by clicking on the room type).
  • Select your desired number of rooms. Then press the book now button.

Subsequently the reservation form appears and you have to confirm your booking. Immediately thereafter you will receive a printable, screen confirmation of your booking. Then, following your screen confirmation, you will receive an instant detailed email confirmation with all of the hotel's contact information and the pricing details.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Hotel information

Residence Porta al Prato was one of the first apartment-hotels built in Florence in 1974; it is a modern 5-storey building with 3 lifts, a spacious hall and a reception. The little indoor garden, with its large trees, grants a relaxing feel to the common areas.

Room information

Residence Porta Al Prato has 47 apartments, elegantly outfitted with post-modern designer furniture. All apartments boast large windows and, for the most part, large balconies as well. There are apartments for one, 2 and 3 people, each comprising of a drawing room, one or 2 bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Many of the apartments have been recently renovated, while maintaining their signature style and design.

Food & beverage

Residence Porta Al Prato doesn’t have a restaurant, but there are several options in the surroundings, including international cuisine, pizzerias, fast-food, bars, bakeries and rotisseries.

Important information

For optimum convenience, apartment keys are handed to you on arrival and must be returned on departure, allowing you to access and leave the residence at any time. However, the 24-hour reception must be notified in advance of any visitors.

Travel information

By Train: The central train station is about 800 metres away. By Car: From the airport: - Take the A1 highway heading south. - After about 10 minutes, take Via Piantanida on the right, before Vialle dalla Porta Al Prato, easily distinguishable at the end of the road. - The residence is number 16, on the left-hand side. From the A1 highway heading north: - Exit at Firenze Certosa. - Continue to Porta Romana. - Continue straight on the left-hand side of the tree-lined avenue towards Ponte alla Vittoria. - 300 metres after crossing the bridge, turn left immediately after the gate on Vialle delle Porte Nuove. - Turn left on the first cross street, Via Pierluigi da Palestrina; number 4C on this street is the secondary entrance of the residence, leading to the internal parking lot. The main entrance is 10 metres around the corner.

• Pets

Pets are not allowed.

• Children and Extra bed

All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

• Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

• Internet

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs EUR 0.50 per hour.

• Extra

VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

• Deposit

No deposit will be charged.

• Restaurant - Breakfast

This hotel has no meal services.

• Parking

Private parking is possible on site and costs EUR 10.00 per day.
