Where we are

The name Hotel Regency as well as its style, reflects the great influence English culture had on the city of Florence from the second half of the nineteenth-century through the beginning of the twentieth-century. The hotel overlooks pristine Piazza D'Azeglio, one of the most beautiful squares of Florence, realized in the typical English square style. Today the square garden still prides itself of the original 4-light street lamps and the basin of the fountain erected during the construction of the square. Within walking distance from the hotel you may reach the most elegant and exclusive areas of Florence such as the romantic gardens, beloved by English and American artists, Piazza San Marco, where to admire the most important collection of Beato Angelico's works and the marvellous Piazza della Santissima Annunziata, a real gem of the Renaissance. In this section we propose a selection of the hidden treasures of Florence close to the Hotel Regency. The concierge of Hotel Regency will be delighted to organize an original "journey" to let you discover the wonders of Florence.
