Our small and exclusive hotel was designed from a 16th century monastery, masterfully restored some years ago. Hotel J and J is located in one of the most traditional and ancient streets in the heart of Florence, close to the city centre. Room information All the rooms, each with its own individual style, are furnished with antiques, hand-woven fabrics and all modern comforts. Most look out over the old rooftops and concealed courtyards, giving you the feeling of really living in the past. Rooms are all different and mainly located at the back of the hotel. Each is cosy and tranquil, and yet maintains a high standard of furnishings (with some antiques) and amenities.

Food & beverage The American buffet breakfast (available from 07:30 to 10:00) is a very rich buffet including cakes, bread, fruit, cereals, yogurt, jam, cheese as well as hot and cold drinks. The bar is open until 23:00.

Travel information By Car: From the North (Milan, Venice, Vespucci Airport): - Follow signs for Firenze Centro. - Once in town, get on the Viali di Circonvallazione, the main avenue surrounding Florence. - Continue for Piazza della Libertà then Piazzale Donatello. At the traffic lights of this last square turn right into Via Alfieri. - Turn right into Via Giusti then take the 1st street on the left. - You are now in Borgo Pinti. Continue straight ahead and take the 3rd street on the left. - You are in Via di Mezzo. The hotel is located almost at the end of the street on your left-hand side. From Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport: - The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is by taxi. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. - Alternatively, you can take the Sita shuttle from the airport to the central railway station of Florence, Santa Maria Novella. From Santa Maria Novella railway station: - A taxi to the hotel takes about 10 minutes. - Alternatively, direct Ataf buses (numbers 31, 32 and 6) are available every 10 minutes.

Important information Extra beds: An extra bed can be placed in the room at an additional cost of EUR 50 per night. Additional costs: Parking: EUR 28 per day.

Cancellation policy Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the day of arrival are free of charge. Otherwise the hotel will charge one night. If you check out before the proposed date, you will still be charged for the entire booking. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Child policy Free extra bed for children aged 3 and under.
