This site will not charge you any reservation fees for making this booking, nor charge your credit card. You will simply pay for your stay at Carolus Hotel.
Cancellation is free of charge provided you adhere to the notification period stated in Carolus Hotel cancellation policy (see "Cancellation Policy" below).

• Making your reservation is easy and safe:
  • Select your desired dates.
  • Select your desired room types (you can view the rooms descriptions and facilities by clicking on the room type).
  • Select your desired number of rooms. Then press the book now button.

Subsequently the reservation form appears and you have to confirm your booking. Immediately thereafter you will receive a printable, screen confirmation of your booking. Then, following your screen confirmation, you will receive an instant detailed email confirmation with all of the hotel's contact information and the pricing details.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Hotel information

The Carolus Hotel has a a privileged location, a few steps from the Museo dell'Accademia where the David of Miolchelangelo is, from San Marco and the frescos of Fra Angelico, and from the Basilica of San Lorenzo and the Medicean Chapels. The Duomo, the Uffizzi, Ponte Vecchio, and the shopping district are just a few steps more. The centro congressi and the fair are 500 metres from the hotel.

Room information

The 53 rooms are elegant and sound proof. They are decorated in a contemporary style, and are equipped to guarantee genuine comfort, respecting the highest international standards. The materials chosen for the interiors, natural fabbrics and oak wooden floors, reflect the world renowned Tuscan artisan tradition. The rooms have private bathrooms (with hairdryer), independently adjustable air conditioning, TV with satellite channels, minibar, electronic safe and telephone. We also have rooms for the disabled.

Travel information

Public transportation from the airport of Florence: In front of the arrival terminal take "Navetta Aeroporto" the bus shuttle that leaves every 15 minutes for the Florence main train station Santa Maria Novella. From the station either by taxi or by foot ( about 5 minutes) take Via Nazionale and turn right in Via XXVII Aprile.

Cancellation policy

48 hours before the day of arrival. In case of no-show or late cancellation: 1 night penalty for every room cancelled The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

• Pets

Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.

• Children and Extra bed

All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

• Cancellation Policy

• Internet

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

• Extra

VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
