Immersed in the green and prestigious residential area of Via Michelangelo, this renovated establishment is located in Florence’s Oltrarno district. It is situated just under the famous Piazzale Michelangelo, the scenic square providing stunning views of this historic city. Hotel David is just a few minutes from the city centre and historic sites such as the Uffizi Gallery and Piazza della Signoria. Hotel staff even offer prepared itineraries and walking tours to help you discover this lovely city. You will enjoy elegant and refined accommodation with modern comforts and soundproofed rooms. The hotel’s homely setting reflects the warmth of typical Florentine hospitality. Travel information

By car From the North or South, take the Florence Certosa exit and then follow the directions fro the Center and for Viale Michelangelo. Having driven for circa 2 kilometers, you will see a yellow sign with directions to Piazzale Michelangelo. When you arrive to Piazzale Michelangelo, you will see a splendid terrace from which you can enjoy views of the city. Continue along the road with trees until you arrive to Piazza Ferrucci. Hotel David is on your right, at number 1 on Via Michelangelo. By train From Santa Maria Novella station, you can take a taxi (about 10 minutes) or bus 23, 13 or D for Piazza Ferrucci. The bus stop is found at the side entrance to the station, at the end of the steps. By plane From Florence "Galileo Galilei" airport, you can take a taxi (about 30 minutes) or the shuttle bus which leaves every 30 minutes and brings you directly in front of Santa Maria Novella Station. From here, take bus 23, 13 or D for Piazza Ferrucci. The bus stop is found at the side entrance to the station , at the end of the steps.
